AI Integration · Email Marketing

AI email marketing that still sounds like you.

Subject lines, segmentation, send-time prediction, and on-brand copy generation — integrated into Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or your custom email stack. Without losing your voice to a generic LLM.

Why generic AI subject lines fail

If you’ve tried asking ChatGPT to write your subject lines, you already know. The output is fine in isolation and wrong for your list. It doesn’t know your previous opens, your audience segments, your historical send times, your brand voice, or the difference between your founder-led newsletter and your transactional flows.

We don’t ship subject-line writers. We ship subject-line writers trained on your archive, scored against your historical open rates, and segmented by audience tier. That’s what makes the difference between cute and converting.

What we build into your email stack

Brand-voice subject and copy generation

We index your last 12 – 24 months of sent campaigns, your top performers, your worst performers, and your style guide if you have one. The model learns your voice — not a generic “professional newsletter” voice. Every generated subject and body is scored on brand-voice match before it’s allowed through.

Predictive open-rate scoring

Before you send, the AI predicts open rate for each candidate subject line against each segment. You pick from a ranked shortlist instead of guessing. Over time it learns from your post-send data and gets sharper.

Intelligent segmentation

Static lists are dead weight. We layer behavioural segments on top of your ESP — “engaged in last 14 days”, “clicked but didn’t convert”, “trial-stalled”, “dormant high-value” — generated automatically from your CRM and product data, kept fresh in your ESP.

Send-time optimisation

Per-subscriber send-time prediction, not the “Tuesday 10am” folk wisdom. We schedule each subscriber based on their own engagement pattern — typical lift is 10 – 25% on opens, sometimes higher on transactional flows.

10 – 25%

Typical open-rate lift from per-subscriber send-time optimisation in our recent deployments. Subject-line scoring usually adds another 5 – 15% on top.

Email platforms we integrate with

We work natively with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Brevo (Sendinblue), Customer.io, Iterable, Postmark, and any ESP with a half-decent API. For high-volume senders we’ve also built directly on top of Amazon SES and SendGrid.

Your brand voice stays yours

Three guardrails matter here:

  • Style enforcement: Every output passes a brand-voice classifier trained on your approved copy. Below threshold = reject and regenerate.
  • Forbidden phrase blocking: Words your brand doesn’t use, claims your legal team doesn’t allow, jargon that doesn’t match your category — blocked at the generation layer.
  • Human approval gates: For broadcasts, generated copy goes to a human review queue before send. For trigger flows, you can set thresholds — “auto-send if brand match > 95%, else queue”.

Token-cost control

Email AI gets expensive fast if you let it. Generating 50 candidates per send across 12 sends a week, naive implementation = real money. We use:

  • Smaller models for first-pass scoring, premium models only for the final 3 candidates
  • Aggressive caching — same segment + same campaign type = reuse
  • Batch processing where latency tolerates it
  • Per-campaign cost budgets with hard caps

The 30-day proof

We pick one campaign type — newsletter, transactional flow, win-back sequence, whatever’s hurting most — and ship the AI augmentation in 30 days. A/B against your current process. If the metric doesn’t move, you don’t scale and we move on.

Questions we get

Will the AI write the body too, or just subject lines?

Both, your call. Subject lines are the safest entry point — high impact, low brand risk. Body copy is where teams either save the most time or hurt the most. We default to drafting body copy for human approval, then loosening the gates as confidence builds.

What about deliverability?

We watch spam-flag indicators on every generated subject and body — known trigger words, all-caps ratio, link density, image-to-text ratio. Anything risky goes to human review.

Can we keep our existing email template designs?

Yes — we slot into your existing templates and design system. The AI handles copy and segmentation; your designers and marketers keep ownership of how it looks.

Multilingual?

Yes — we’ve built brand-voice models in multiple languages. Each language gets its own training pass on your historical sends. Common ones we’ve done: English, Spanish, German, French, Arabic, Hindi.
